Make sure you are not loosing weight too fast and are hydrated ( drink tons of water!)- if you are loosing weight too fast your supply will start to dwindle. I am not a fan of galactagogues, but if you think fenugreek will help - by all means use it! I also know of some people swearing by oatmeal, hey it can't hurt anything - right? Also pump like crazy ( at least 6 times a day for 10-15 min, do not use a pump as a measurement of how much milk you have though because sometimes women do not let down for the pump so a few ounces is doing good!), at first it doesn't seem to work that great, but just when you think you cannot handle it anymore you will notice progress. You want to pump frequently instead of just a few times for a long periodof time. If you are on WIC they have pumps and if you are having a hard time - let them know, sometimes they can refer you to an IBCLC, or give you a multi-user pump - the kind you have to rent for free. Just remember that it is possible, although it takes quite a bit of work! The benefits are really worth it, but in the end you have to do what is best for your lil one and yourself - try but don't beat yourself up about it. Feel free to ask if you have any ?'s.... :-)
